Click the links below to download the software and the patch. Please save the files to your hard drive and extract.
Business Objects - Desktop Intelligence XI R3.1
- Step 1) Download Desktop Intelligence (800 MB Zip)
- Step 2) Unzip the software (10 minutes)
- Step 3) Find the setup.exe file and double click.
- Step 4) Accept the welcome message.
- Step 5) Agree to the license.
- Step 6) Perferred language - english.
- Step 7) Choose a location to install.
- Step 8) Accept the defaults.
- Step 9) Start the installation (10-15 mintutes)
- Step 10) Final screen - click finish.
- Step 11) Download and run the patch - Post Install Patch v1.4 (150 MB Self-extracting executable) (15 minutes to extract and run)
- Step 12) Run Business Objects Desktop Intelligence
"Start" -> "Programs" -> "Business Objects XI 3.1" -> "Desktop Intelligence"
The system/server is businessobjects.wsu.edu
Change the login to be "Windows AD"
Log in with your "NID" and "NID" password.
