Serving students, staff, faculty, and administrators in accomplishing the mission and goals of the University.
Statement of purpose:
Provide leadership, expertise, and resources, in collaboration with business partners throughout Washington State University, to:
- analyze university business and information requirements
- promote and deliver innovative business and technology solutions
- design, develop, integrate, implement, and support administrative applications
- ensure the integrity of university data, administrative software, and related processing
- facilitate secure and appropriate access to university data
UISS group priorities:
- develop/integrate applications to meet strategic goals of WSU
- enhance existing applications to meet business information needs of WSU
- ensure accurate and secure operation of administrative application systems
- maintain the integrated data model and ensure integrity of enterprise data
- provide managed access to enterprise data and business rules
