UISS collaborates with WSU staff in administrative offices and departments, with students and faculty, and with other IT professionals and vendors to design and develop new administrative applications and enhancements to existing applications.

We evaluate new technologies and software products for their feasibility in providing information solutions. Sometimes the development process takes the form of integrating these acquired software products into existing administrative applications or building a WSU infrastructure to support the acquired software products.

We collaborate with the user community and other IT professionals to determine the business requirements to solve a problem or need. We analyze and integrate those requirements and the results of design techniques such as data and process modeling into a University solution. As part of any project, we welcome the involvement not only of the primary stakeholders but also those expert in and affected by the proposed project at all levels of the University and at any WSU campus.
