Symantec Antivirus
Symantec Antivirus is a generic name for a line of antivirus software created by the company Symantec. Symantec creates numerous antivirus and security programs for corporations and home use (all home products are marketed under the brand Norton).
Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS X is freely available for any current WSU student through myWSU's Tech Tools. Versions for Microsoft Windows Vista and Linux can be obtained by contacting the ITS Helpdesk.
Note: Due to incompatibilities with Cisco Clean Access, Norton Antivirus 2007 is not currently supported on ResNet.
