Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 for the Mac
- Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Account Settings".
- Select "Server Settings" under the appropriate account that you want to modify.
- Under the "Security Settings" select the option to " Use Secure Authentication".

- Go to "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" and select the "Edit" button.
- Under "Server Name" type in smtp.wsu.edu for the server. Check the box that says "Use Name and Password" and type in your Network ID. Select the "SSL" option under "Use Secure Connection". Then hit "OK" twice to save changes.
