Eudora 7.0 for Windows
- Click on the “Tools” menu and select “Options”.
- Select the “Getting Started” Category and enter in the “SMTP Server (Outgoing)” box “smtp.wsu.edu” as the server name and select the check box “Allow Authentication” as shown:

- Select the “Sending Mail” Category and change Secure Sockets When Sending to “Required, Alternate Port” as shown:

- The first time you try to send an email with Eudora using the Required, Alternate Port you might get an error like this:

- A message about the certificate may appear. When or if this message appears select the “Yes” button to trust this certificate in the future.

- Select the “Tools menu again and select “Options”.
- Select the “Sending Mail” Option and navigate to the “Last SSL Info” button as shown:

- Select the “Certificate Information Manager” button.

- Select the “Add to Trusted” button to add the certificate your trusted certificates.

- Hit the “Done” button, then hit the “Ok” buttons and you should be able to send mail using SSL.
