Outlook 2007


  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Account Settings
  2. Select your account and hit the Change button.
  3. Change the Outgoing Server to smtp.wsu.edu, hit the More Settings button.

  4. Select the Outgoing Server tab and check the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. 
    Choose the Log on using button and enter your Network ID and password.

  5. Now choose the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) to 465 and select SSL as the connection type. 
    Hit Ok to save your settings.

  6. Hit the Next button, then Finish, then Close to get back to your Inbox.
