The Microsoft Select program in cooperation with the e-Academy provides current WSU students, faculty and staff the ability to purchase a limited selection of Microsoft products at deeply discounted prices.

- The Select program allows you to purchase licenses and media for installation on your personal computer. For more information refer to FAQ's under the e-academy support tab at http://elms10.e-academy.com/wsu/ .
- The software available is intended for general use and is not limited to course work, instructional or research purposes.
- General use includes personal use
- Course or instructional purposes include structured courses, class projects, and independent academic exploration
- Research purposes are defined as conducting not-for-profit research projects

How to Obtain Software |

- Software is downloaded from the e-academy web site, however access to the download site and your eligibility for the software is managed by WSU.
- Microsoft's Select site can be found at myWSU, Tech Tools under the "myTOOLS" in the left sidebar. There are several download sites in Tech Tools. Use the Microsoft's Select hot link, click "Logon". You will then be asked for your WSU Network ID and password to login to the outsource software site.
- Once logged into the e-academy site, you will see the Software tab at the top of the screen. On the Software tab, you can choose from a dropdown of available software, or you may click on one of the featured product icons. To complete your selection, add the item to your "shopping cart".
- The End User License Agreement (EULA) will be presented to you, which you must understand and agree to, if you are to proceed. You will then be asked to supply your name and email address. At the end of the ordering process, your may download the software from their server. E-academy will send you an email receipt of your order, which will also contain any necessary product keys.

Prices generally average 60% off the academic retail price* and are subject to change at the discretion of Microsoft and/or e-academy. e-academy will provide 21 days advance notice of any price change.
* The academic retail price is below the average retail price and only available to students currently enrolled in an institution of higher education.

Can staff buy the software?
Yes. Staff members are eligible to purchase the software through the program.
Is the software available in languages other than English?
No, software is offered in English only.
Will computing labs be able to take advantage of this program?
No. Software offered through the Agreement is for use on personal computers only.
What happens to the software I purchase when I leave the University?
Once a license is purchased it will not be terminated or expire by virtue of the termination, suspension or other interruption of your status as at WSU. In addition, a license cannot be transferred to another person.
